Hejsan!
Kram
Hello! I hope you feel better than me. I woke up with a sore throat and headache last Saturday, and since then it has not improved. The mornings are the worst when it feels like it's burning in my throat. I’m planning to go buy some ginger tea and painkillers today after work!
What else has been going on this week, you can see below!
Monday - Filip has purchased a subscription for flowers that will be delivered to my job every Monday. It's incredibly appreciated, but I'm starting to think about what he might have done ;) This will apparently go on for a year ...
Tuesday - This is our morning view every day. And every time, I'm equally impressed with this city.
A tradition we have at work is to sing and eat cake when someone has a birthday. This time it was my colleague A.
Wednesday - I am currently testing a 5-day healthy meal plan of lunches delivered to my job. They consist of a lot of salad and good protein, which has so far been very tasty. There is also a juice included. Tomorrow is the last day so then I can give a quick review?!
Even this is a common sight here in town when replacing and fixing the power lines. They throw a ladder made of bamboo and then hang up there on the cables while the guy below looks at his phone or takes a smoke break. Haha.
When we got in, the next guy started climbing things. This little man would, however, change the filter on the AC over our desk.
Another birthday. However, J is not much for sweets or cakes so he had requested fruit salad instead. Very healthy and good
Now the next business trip also begins to approach so one evening a week, the sales team will stay longer to book meetings for their trips and spend a little time together. This time we had pizza, wine and sweets.
Thursday - After work on Thursday I had booked the next team building event for our office, a workout. What I heard afterwards, was that everyone had fun and really appreciated it, and for me it was fun to see everyone in another environment. We will see what the next team building event will be for something ..
Friday - The working week ended with a day trip to visit one of our factories and carry out an inspection of the production. I have only been to one inspection before, so it was fun to go to another one.
After a 1.5 hour train ride we were in Yiwu. I, who’ve been nagging Filip about wanting to see more of China, now got a taste
The day went fast, and on the way back to the train station to go home we met some agents .. all of you Marvel Fans understand!
Once in Shanghai I met Filip, his father and his girlfriend for dinner. We choose Hotpot as we have not eaten it for a long time, but I have to admit that Little Sheep, which is a cheaper alternative, is significantly better
Saturday - The weekend started quite early when we went to Shanghai International Circuit to see Formula 1.
We got seats right at the start / finish line, but for me who thinks the tire changes are the most interesting thought we were sitting too far to the right compared to last year;)
It was also lucky that we were there last year in the rain which prepared us for this year's cold. I had some extra layers on me because it's blowing so much, but still we all froze when it was time to get home.
After a hot shower at home, we headed for dinner to a Turkish restaurant, black pepper. Incredibly good food, and I who are not the biggest fan of lamb could not stop eating.
Sunday - Day two on F1 was a bit warmer and significantly more people. Even more fun to watch when it happened so much the last couple of laps. F1 is really an experience and something one should go to if you have the opportunity!
We finished our visit to the arena with some food, chicken popcorn they called it. It's like chicken nuggets in mini pieces. Unbelievably good!
We sat in the sun waiting for the largest crowds to have left the subway before we left. At home, I took a shower, we had dinner in bed and watched a movie before we fell asleep.
This week will be at least as eventful so of course you will have to come along! Hope you get a great start to the week! xo
